
Lauren Kanko
(Registered Physiotherapist)
Lauren graduated from the Master of Physical Therapy program at Western University. Prior to that, she completed a Masters of Science in Kinesiology at Western with a research focus on knee osteoarthritis and gait, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Queen’s University.
Lauren ran competitively for Western’s cross country and track teams while she studied physiotherapy and she has been competing in triathlons for the last 7 years. Her favourite event to date was racing in Australia for the Triathlon World Championships. She also enjoys volleyball, soccer, basketball and hockey. Lauren has an interest in sports, running, and concussion rehab, and enjoys helping people get back to the activities they love. She uses a combination of education, exercise, and manual therapy to provide an individualized treatment plan based on her clients’ goals. Lauren believes in lifelong learning and is advancing her manual therapy skills through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
