Erin Walkovich
(Registered Occupational Therapist)
Erin is an Occupational Therapy graduate from McMaster University and a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, blending her expertise to offer a truly holistic approach to rehabilitation.
Erin is passionate about helping people reclaim their independence and supporting individuals through the ups and downs of recovery. She is dedicated to guiding clients as they rediscover their sense of purpose, rebuild confidence, and return to activities that bring them joy.
Erin’s personal experience with concussions sparked her passion for understanding recovery on a deeper level exploring the complex connections between physical, cognitive and mental health in the healing process. This inspired her to lead a research project exploring the experiences of elite athletes recovering from sport-related concussions. By blending lived experience with academic research, Erin has developed a therapeutic approach and philosophy in occupational therapy that is both compassionate and evidence-based, enabling her to provide care that truly supports clients on their path to recovery.
Outside of the clinic you can find Erin staying active and embracing new challenges through triathlons, watersports and strength training. Feel free to let her know if you share any of these interests or have a favorite sport. She’s always excited to swap stories and tips!
