
Ashley Stainton
(Registered Massage Therapist)
Ashley graduated from Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching Clinic in 2013 and is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist with a passion for helping people of all ages move and feel their best. With experience treating everyone from young children to older adults, Ashley brings a versatile and compassionate approach to her practice.
She has worked with athletes at all levels, including working as a Massage Therapist and medical trainer for the Whitby Dunlop’s Men’s Senior AAA hockey team. Through her clinical work and with Sutherland-Chan School outreach clinic’s, she has also treated professional athletes, gaining valuable insight into performance recovery and injury prevention.
Ashley has a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions, scar tissue work, pre- and postnatal massage, and post-operative recovery. Her treatments draw from a wide range of modalities, including myofascial release, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, dynamic and static stretching, lymphatic drainage, shiatsu, tuina, and acupressure.
She believes in empowering clients through education and personalized self-care, encouraging them to take an active role in their own healing journey.
Outside the clinic, Ashley enjoys walking, hiking, cooking, baking, playing board and card games, and spending quality time with family and friends.
