Alicia Hanman

(Registered Physiotherapist )

Alicia is a graduate of the Master of Science, Physiotherapy program at
McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and is a member of the
Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She
has worked closely with clients of all ages including children and older
adults. She enjoys working with varsity athletes and was the team
physiotherapist for the fencing and badminton teams at the University
of Guelph prior to moving to Toronto.

As a Registered Physiotherapist, Alicia utilizes a wide range of
treatment techniques including manual therapy and soft tissue release
techniques, acupuncture, taping, and tailored exercise programs. She
continues to advance her skills through courses of the Orthopaedic
Division Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy
Program and has completed her Level 1 Pelvic Health training. Alicia
loves Pilates and is a Certified Balanced Body Mat Pilates Instructor.

Alicia has a lifelong passion for dancing. She has completed her
pre-professional ballet examinations through the Royal Academy of
Dance and was a competitive dancer for 10+ years. Additionally, she
has experience in rehabilitation research at Hamilton Health Science in
dance and its effects on balance and gait in older adults. For that
reason, Alicia understands first-hand the value of movement-based
care and can empathize with the dedication it takes to achieving your
health goals. She looks forward to helping you get back to the activities
you enjoy.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Alicia enjoying a Reformer Pilates
class, walking nature trails and playing with her cat, Louie!
