Life Coach and CounsellorLeslie Smyth, M.A., C. Psych. Assoc.Leslie received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queen's University (1994) and went on to become a Human Resource manager, working with several major North American corporations. In pursuit of greater career satisfaction, she completed a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology (2003) as well as a professional coaching certification program (2002) with the Adler School of Professional Psychology and has subsequently been providing services in a private practice setting. She loves the new life she has created for herself! Leslie is a registered member of the College of Psychologists and a member of the International Coaching Federation. Leslie's practice is based on the belief that life is too short not to live it to the fullest. She provides a confidential environment to explore what you really want and help you to achieve it. Leslie has a special interest in working with people who feel they could be more satisfied with their career or educational path, and is able to utilize psychological assessment tools to help clients make informed choices. As well, her experience working with those with Learning Disabilities and ADHD makes her an ideal coach for individuals who learn differently. Finally, the mind-body connection can be a strong one. Sometimes physical pain can be an expression of feelings of stress, worry, and unhappiness, and Leslie can help you develop coping strategies to improve both physical and emotional well-being.
